STAFIX — PPWR (EU) 2025/40: Position
Stafix products are not packaging within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2025/40. They are display, POS and signage films, designed for hard, smooth, non-porous surfaces — glass, metal, painted board, laminate. They are not designed, supplied or marketed to contain, protect, handle, deliver or present goods within the meaning of Article 3(1).
PPWR product obligations therefore do not apply to Stafix products, and no such obligation is passed to our customers or distributors in respect of the products as supplied.
Where a customer converts or applies our material into a packaging application, responsibility for the compliance of that final application rests with the party carrying out the conversion.
Stafix transport packaging
Separately, the packaging in which we ship our goods: pallets, stretch film, strapping, printed cartons and cores is transport packaging within the scope of the Regulation. We are collecting conformity documentation from our packaging suppliers and will make available a summary covering these.
